Client: RSA Submission - The Good Life 2.0

Asthma kills over 1000 people every year in the UK alone, but 2/3rds of these deaths are preventable. Research showed that many people diagnosed with asthma don’t understand their inhalers and many use them incorrectly. Many over-rely on their reliever inhaler as it provides an instant change in their asthma symptoms. If users used their preventer inhaler properly, there would be no need to use their reliever.

To combat this, I designed Inhale – an alarm clock that links the users preventer inhaler to their daily routine. This prevents people forgetting to take their preventer inhaler and integrated it into an already existing programme – making the outcome more successful. The branding for Inhale is designed to combat the stigma around asthma and asthma medication – making it look and feel more luxurious, something people would want to buy.
