Relict is a surrealist animation short film expressing satire and self-examination on Beijing's typical social issues by depicting the illusion future of Beijing. Among them, the main problems we focused are the housing price issue, the population explosion issue and the air pollution problem in Beijing. In this piece, we create a series of scenarios for Beijing's future based on social problems, includes indoor scenes and outdoor landmarks of Beijing.
