This project aims to uncover insights about people’s food habits and the influence of social media on the same. We sampled instagram food posts from 5 different cities across India. After devising a data collection, analysis, and synthesis process, we applied the process to our sample set. The outcome of this exercise were two main sets of data visualisations along with multiple iterations of presenting the data. he insights of our data visualisation include the kind of cuisine popular on instagram and the colour palettes that are trending.
