Section explores function through the division of an object. Two halves of a sphere split and rotate along a plane to reveal its function as a wireless speaker - at the same time giving it a purposeful balance that it can never find on its own.

at the same time giving it a purposeful, static balance that it can never find on its own.

the rotating mechanism allows for the ditching of conventional remote control / buttons to turn it on/ off.

accent light presence on both the exterior and interior gives visual rhythm coinciding with played music.
When not in use, section returns to its primitive shape.
In a state devoid of any function it becomes entirely sculptural , like a form without function.
Charging pedestal morphs to accommodate the contours of section.
Status of charge is reflected on the pedestal and product logo.
