This is the piece with which I participated in the Bienal of Illustration (not selected). It was certainly a very pleasant experience, which allowed me to explore a little about the scope I had as an illustrator and put my skills and abilities to the test. From the pencil sketch to the 100% vector application in Adobe Illustrator.
This illustration was quite a trip.
The name of the piece is "Legacy" which arises from the idea in love of what you do, the passion with which it is made and the inheritance that we leave to those who want to follow our steps.
Inspired mainly by my little son, this is a tribute to the challenges that, as a father and illustrator, I have faced and that in turn, left a huge mark on a small human being.
The representation of the idea is a personal portrait with my son, holding a heart, which symbolizes 'love for the profession' while the fire that emanates from the center and surrounds both is for the 'passion in what inspires us, for what we do'.
