The brief was to create a dynamic visual identity for a new multipurpose venue to be built in Mumbai. The building itself to be designed by BIG architects, the brief asked for the identity of the new building to draw inspiration from both the architects and the city of Mumbai.

The brief was to create a dynamic visual identity for a new multipurpose venue to be built in Mumbai. The building itself to be designed by BIG architects, the brief asked for the identity of the new building to draw inspiration from both the architects and the city of Mumbai.

Through the research process, I looked at varying aspects of Indian culture. I decided that I wanted the identity of the venue to follow 3 keywords: Flourishing, Accessible and adaptable. Flourishing in that Mumbai is a flourishing city, it is rapidly growing and is seen as the Design Capital of India. I wanted the identity to feel accessible to all those within the city of Mumbai and lastly wanted the identity itself to be adaptable.
