The Gallery

A photographic series called "The Swan" inspired by the classical ballet of Swan Lake. The narrative of this series focuses on the idea of transformation and the antagonist Odile, the black swan. The main challenge of this photographic project was to incorporate a random material given to the students by the professor, and interpret the object in whatever concept they desire. If one looks closely, there are ping pong balls that are hidden and some that are obvious to the eye. This creates interest and a juxtaposition to the raw and natural fluidity of the dancer.
