Category Semifinalist
Language is often an instinctual human behavior learned from an early age. Instincts are referred to as an urge or competence in which the person is unaware of. The textbook definition is that it is an ability to behave in a certain way coupled with a tendency to behave that way at appropriate times. According to Robert F. Port the follow are basic human instincts: SUSTENANCE, SEX, DEFENSE, SOCIALITY, KNOW/LEARN and TALK. From the basics of human behaviors other factors stem and grow and effect other areas of life.
