Drive for Impact is a charity event created for the United Way of the Lower Mainland in Vancouver, Canada. UWLM has been around since the 1930’s and many people know of this charity but not what they do. As part of the curriculum at Vancouver Film School’s Digital Design program we had the opportunity to create an event and supporting digital campaign to increase awareness about the causes that the United Way of the Lower Mainland support, increase their donor pool and help them build stronger communities. UWLM work with over 150 organizations to fund 3 main focus areas, specifically in the preventative side, hence why people do not always see the direct results of their work or know what it is they do. Our campaign included a 30 second promotional video, a responsive website, an event graphic identity and event banner & T-shirt designs. This project was delivered and approved in February 2016.
