This journey through Iceland I stopped every 20 minutes to make an image at the place I was. This way I had to use the place I was brought. Sometimes it was hard to make a good image at that place and other times I was gifted with marvellous moments. Gifts I normally would not have stopped for. As a photographer I always look for unexpected spontaneous moments. I have a passion for daylight, traveling and minimalism. Although I have an idea from the start I let surprises and gifts influence my series. The environment inspires me. The interaction between people, the environment and simplicity. Lines and rhythm are common themes in my photographs. I use Photoshop to adjust the exposure and colour. I hardly retouch my images. For this project I made a book by blurb.
