The Gallery

I created this series of illustrations during my practicum at TEALEAVES, a luxury tea company. The web illustrations appeared on the company's microsite for an event about design and biomimicry called The Garden of Secrets. The objective was to create illustrations that merged traditional botanical drawing with design. 

I worked alongside the web designer, the event co-ordinator and project manager to create the illustration series. I created mood boards and sample illustrations to decide on the look and feel we wanted. One of the biggest challenges we faced with this project was to come up with illustrations that were modern and graphic, but didn't stray too far from the tea company's brand.
