A black and white photographic series called the "The King", an exploration of the human form inspired by Renaissance compositions dealing with the notions of beauty through human physique, accentuated by frayed fabrics enveloping the human form. A contrast of both fragility and ruggedness through fabrics to depict character of the king. The equipment utilized for this photoshoot include one Elinchrome soft box light as an overhead light source and a Canon EOS REBEL T5i camera. This photo was shot at OCAD University's Photography Studio.
THE KING SERIES

A black and white photographic series called the "The King", an exploration of the human form inspired by Renaissance compositions dealing with the notions of beauty through human physique, accentuated by frayed fabrics enveloping the human form. A contrast of both fragility and ruggedness through fabrics to depict character of the king.
EQUIPMENT

Using one primary light source creates a dramatic effect on the muscular contours of the human form. Placing the Elinchrome soft box overhead achieves this moody look. The camera used is a Canon EOS REBEL T5i camera.
