Tenderloin Fanzine

Erik Berger Vaage | Marcus Pettersson

Commercial - Print / Graphic / Illustration
Category Winner

A promotional fanzine for the Tenderloin Museum, a recently opened museum celebrating the unique history of the Tenderloin neighborhood. Unlike some other huge cities like New York who have cleaned up their acts, San Francisco can, as maybe the only city in the U.S. still claim that true city vibe as the neighborhood makes up for what it’s missing in polish with grit and soul. Using a visually honest and straight to the point approach that highlights the mash up of high and low culture, progressiveness and historic landmarks, the newsprint gives an unfiltered view of the neighborhood through photos, essays and interviews.
